Description

Are you ready to take on a supervisory role? Congratulations! It's a huge accomplishment. Often, rock star employees like yourself are promoted by their managers to become supervisors. What happens after this celebratory event frequently involves confusion, frustration, and let down, leading that new supervisor to feel discouraged and unsupported. If you have been promoted from peer to supervisor, you know that transition can be extremely challenging. You might be feeling unprepared, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to adjust your mindset. Often, there is not much guidance on what to expect and what to do. Great leadership skills don’t just show up with a job title. A talented employee that has been promoted to a team lead, supervisor, or manager position deserves to be given the proper tools to be successful in their new leadership role.

As an HR Manager, after trying to rebuild many new supervisors' confidence and encourage them not to up and quit, I developed this leadership training course to give them the tools they need to be successful from the “S.T.A.R.T.”. This course is tailored to assist new supervisors as well as seasoned supervisors, equipping you with the tools to be successful and thrive in your leadership roles so that you can jump in without as many questions, surprises, and frustrations holding you back. The sections are the identified top priority areas around leading people that will set a firm foundation for future growth and development. Content is derived from science, case studies, wisdom of others, my own experiences as an HR professional and supervisor, and injected humor. HR professionals can also use this information to help supervisors in their organizations to better navigate this crazy world of leading people.

But don't just survive as a supervisor – seek to thrive in your new role. That's why our course focuses on S.T.A.R.T., the understanding of the essential skills needed to lead your team effectively. Avoid setting yourself or your leadership team up for failure and offer meaningful training opportunities as an investment tool for yourself and for your business.

This course will guide you through your supervisory journey and empower you to inspire your team to achieve their goals. This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, advance your career, and contribute to your team and organization's success.
